Growing up in Bay Ridge, in Brooklyn, NY, I was surrounded by great Italian food culture. Between my two Italian grandmothers and their Sunday recipes, my life seemed to revolve around delicious sauce. Sunday’s famous debate? Who’s sauce was better. As a kid, there were many great pizzerias in my neighborhood. However, my cousins and I had our favorite go-to-spot.
Here at DC PIE CO. it all starts with the ingredients. Our sauce is made fresh every single day with ingredients sourced from local purveyors. Everything we serve here is made fresh daily, so you can experience clean, delicious, homemade food, just as I did growing up. DC PIE CO.’s Flagship brick-oven pizza haven on Colfax and York is keeping it fresh with their open patio seating, new lunch hours, and new Summer Sodas + Spritzes! With the large front windows wide open, the patio extends into the restaurant space, creating a warm, fresh and welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring you won’t have a long wait for a table.
Here, homemade, naturally flavored sodas and spritzes are flowing, and Happy Hour is available daily. Rounding out the new bar offerings, for something a touch boozier, you can enjoy DCP’s famous Leather Bitters Manhattan, now Barrel-aged to perfection.
